This is my storm chase of a severe thunderstorm that hit the Perris area on August 6, 2005. It generated a microburst that toppled 16 power poles along San Jacinto Ave that resulted in several injuries as the poles fell on cars traveling along the road.

I remeber that damn well. i had just moved to Cali form Va and i remember my bro saying how it hardly ever rains and we were stuck on the mountain with a foot of snow. I remember reading a sign that said Los angeles 97 miles and could not help but laugh. It rained like crazy for a couple of days with crashing thunder and lightning, it was intence.
