I mean seriously, if you can't take getting hit by a sniper from any less than 80 yards then I suggest you find another sport. (Also, getting a sniper to be accurate at 80 yards is expensive, so having rules like that makes it so that most likely noone would even bother to be a sniper.)

I like how you think your field is special or something because of that. Those are the same rules basically every field in the world operates with. I'm just saying that at 80 yards a 500 fps sniper is going to feel like getting hit by one of those cheap wal mart pistols from 20 yards. There is no reason to have a minimum distance that high, unless your using some 1400 fps gas rig. NASF requires only a 30m safety distance with 550 fps, and there are no special clothing requirements.

I'm not mistaken. We have tested and they bbs are easily felt at that range. Maybe you and your buddies just where too much clothing... At the place we airsoft, you can show up butt naked if you like. The only requirments are:
1) bring your own gun, bbs, and goggles.
2) wear goggles in match.
3) if your hit call out.
As for the football field thing, I'm not a twat OK I know the length is 20 yards shorter. SO? Also if your counting end zones a feild is really more like 110 yards, |
