uttam kumar's personality personifies bengali characters -is the real attraction of his acting where he could touch their heart and speak into their thoughts.

this was the first time an effort was made to render a rabindra sangeet in an conversational duet style. profoundness of its word to match with a contemporary style and the story. what is so wrong with acting ? (as someone suggested). at least the charming Uttam had the courage to put his finger on the keyboard and did not overact. both of them looked great to me and yes they perfectly balance the abstractness of the song.
