From a Canadian, I feel bad for you guys. I've never once had to ever think of my wallet when going to a doctor, emergency room, or surgery. The lies you will hear from politicians about canada's health care are untrue. Americans need to stand up and fight for what's right. The word "Profit" should have nothing to do with Health Care. If the US can dish out 700 billion dollars of your tax money to banks, then they can dish out money for universal health care.

Yesterday, my friend had an accident & dislocated his shoulder. He's emergency room, screaming from pain, not sure if anything else was broken and all the nurse could do was struggle to get his wallet out of his soaking wet jeans (he was practing hard stops in the rain during a motorcycle license class).It took her an hour to verify coverage with the insurance company before they'd treat him! He is well covered and well off but still had to suffer because of our screwed up system! UNBELIEVABLE!
