Since this incarnation of the JL doesn't have Batman and Wonder Woman, I can see Smallville basing their version of the Justice League on this.

Man, Atom must have some serious cleats on those shoes.

"The rest of you go and handle the little shit. I'm just gonna go over here and push the planet back, that's all."~(Superman to the rest of the JLA). Hot damn they made dat nigga Supes strong as hell in this!

I've got some Batman episodes on one of my Filmation channels. Check them out and let me know what you think of them.

Well, the JLA predated Superfriends in cartoons, and in the comics... but the original DC superteam was the Justice Society during WW2.

Of course, it wouldn't work regardless of how super you are. If your car's out of gas and you have to push it, it ain't gonna budge unless your feet are on the ground! But when you're a kid, your suspension of disbelief is very willing!

I never heard of this? I thought the SUPERFRIENDS (73) was the first to pair our DC heroes together. But where oh where is BATMAN?

Thank you! It's just a damned shame that all these great talents are no longer with us.

It's cool that these cartoons of the '60s used a lot of Old Time Radio talent... Gerald Mohr, Bud Collyer, Vic Perrin, Paul Frees, Jackson Beck, etc. |
