I run a website on Ubuntu Server. I had not had any down time yet. The computer has been running for over a month without a reboot.

I go for the linux model because I believe in open source, but I don't believe linux should just copy the interfaces of other OS's.

i use windows os but i think linux is better coz it depends on open sources especially for the programmers when they need free codes.

for now vista is better no matter what anyone says ...thats why im duel boot..let see what the new release of ubuntu brings in a few days/weeks...HAhA wobble and hobble .

well..yes the effects are good ..but installing things is too tricky...smooth that out ..you have a number one operating sytem

You can definitely run it. I have these effects and more on my old Pentium 3 500MHz, with 512MB RAM, and a really old graphics card.

I've done this with around half of your hardware specifications, no problems what so ever. So you can run it.

Ubuntu Linux rules :D but what are the requierments to do something like that!!! Can someone tell me the minimum configuration of an pc!!! i think a memory at least 1gb, intel processor at least 2400, grafic card 256 mb, ill try anyway ubuntu linux at work on a server :D
