Maha Ghosananda is my Hero! I'll remember Him forever! Many people, including the Buddhist monks and lay people from all ethnic groups were waiting for the arrival of the Holy Body of Samdech Preah Maha Ghosananda, the Supreme Patriarch of Cambodian Buddhism during his Extra-Ordinary and Funeral Services on March 17th, during a heavy snowstorm, but His Body never arrived until the next morning. I was very lucky because I slept over at the temple with all the Templenews TV crew. On March 18, 2007 at 8 a.m. His Holy Body finally arrived, but not that may people were there to honor the Body, because they were not expected Him that hour. I was one of the luckiest person because I was there and got to capture every important scene during His arrival.

as a criticism to all religions that use coffins - there is no need for coffins, a simple shroud shud suffice, ah well it creates an industry

guys plz this is a sacred member of the buddhist faith plz some have respect. I don't want to crude but why was his holiness made up with make up at the temple at the beginning of his journey and not at the funeral home that wasn't a good job of the funeral director that isn't good but at least he went with love and respect on his journey to a better being
