no cover can be better than original, I don't see why you post all this "no doubt suck, gwen stefani can't sing, she ruined the song" when a lot of people probably wouldn't ever hear for this song if there wasn't the cover... and the cover wasn't changed much, so I don't really see this huge and unforgivable difference... give no doubt a break, they did it as an homage, not to ruin this perfect song. and they did a great job, most of today's bands would never ever consider covering this song !

I like this version because it has so much depth, if you listen very carefully there are all kinds of different animal sounds in the background.
