Maybe I'm being hypocritical here but he just seemed too cocky too early. Best time to be cocky is when they are laid out wondering what day it is.

Paez was a great fighter and entertaining to watch . HE gave some of the best fighters in his class a hard time but usually lost against the greats. His son sucks bad.

Didn't Paez eventually go on to challenge Whitaker (and lose)? It's been so long I can't remember clearly. I know we all hated him because he was a showboat, but he did get pretty far in his career.

don't fool yourself.. i may allow that not everyone can box. yet, and a big yet at that, to apply more "tools" to the attack is by no means a lessening of the difficulty level. each has their place, no need to hate what is different. not all football people like basketball. give mma a chance and watch the truly skilled practitioners ply their trade.

shut the fuck up faggit. Anybody can do MMA not everyone can box. I swear after MMMA came onto the scene everyone is a fuckin MMA fighter now, it requires no skill or athleticism, just an inner sense of brawl. |
