I get it all of Jacks 'flashbacks' in this episode were infact flash forwards. Still don't know what was in the note or whose funeral he went to

Wasn't sure if it was a flash forward. I mean Jack had a beard in all the flashbacks previously in the episode so i assumed this was also a flashback but couldn't understand how he knew Kate before they met on the island.

Bloody brilliant scene. When I saw this, and realised how brilliant lost was, my mind was blown for weeks!
I don't think any other show or episode could do something like that to me!
