I have two children, adopted, who struggle with this daily. My son has the worst struggle, and has sever anger and impulse control issues. My daughter has a milder form. PLEASE get this message out, My children look normal, actually they are beautiful. But each day is a struggle. The dammage that alcohol and drugs do are horrible. They may look normal, but they are not. Thank you

Unfortunately not always. The physical manifestations could be obvious, or invisible. Sometimes there are only behavioural or cognitive signs of this disease.
