Vaughan candidates debate the social safety net, including pharmacare

Vaughan Liberal incumbent Maurizio Bevilacqua squares off against Conservative candidate Richard Lorello, Green Party challenger Adrian Visentin and NDP hopeful Vicky Wilkin. The contenders met at Toronto District Christian High School and made their case why they each think voters in the riding of Thornhill should choose them in the upcoming Oct. 14 federal election. The debate was held at 7:30 p.m. and was sponsored by Vaughan Today. Alexis Dobranowski moderated.
