Well, I'd be glad to tell you the story I've always heard...It's about three different women...One of them was Joni Mitchell, one of them was Christine Hinton (his girlfriend who was killed in a car accident), and the third has never been identified...When I see him perform it now, I imagine he's thinking about Christine...Or maybe he's thinking about his wife Jan...Who's to say? All I know is they are my favorite band...I think everything they do is golden...

There are NO other bands that are as timeless as Crosby,Stills,Nash and Young! Their 4 part harmony is so incredibly crystal and and sharp; no other 4 people can sing together that way. if there are, who are they???

Watching David do this song at the age he is now is fascinating...If you watch his face, it's like you can see him reflecting back on those days...If you know anything about why he wrote the song, you can almost imagine who he's thinking about...It's an amazing song which, as it happens, has nothing to do with King Arthur...
