Dr. Karlheinz Brandenburg used this song to refine the mp3 compression algorithm. This quirky little song helped pave the way for the mass distribution of audio. Hats off. ;)

Yes, this song has been remixed to death - literally, in some cases. Yet I still want to ask you to take a listen to my lovely, gentle, melodic pop mix. I think that it manages to retain the quirky and somewhat melancholy feel of the acapella version, whilst sounding more like a pop song. Check it out for yourself, just look for my Matt Mix. I have loved this song for years. It set the mood for a whole year when it came out as my overall feeling behind everything I was learning musically while becoming a musician which turned out to have lasted already 39 years. Suzanne added a whole new dimension in my mind. The band always amazed me. They seemed born to know her music as if they had grown up with her. The music is as perfect as her writing and singing. I am grateful for that year and forever the years to follow. Thank you Suzanne
