wow such hate for such a wonderful game :P The storyline is awful, but IMO the gameplay makes up for it. Altough not too much :/

Battle system was great but the characters were indisputably the worst cast of characters in any FF game yet. There isn't a single character that I liked and the only one I didn't HATE was Balthier.

i dont quite agree with the battle system, dont get me wrong I LOVE IT, and the fact that enemies can level up *i think, cant remember* but it isnt multiplayer, or online, which makes the game areas seem big and lonely.... if it was able to be played online in active mode, and you chose the person you played as, I would LOVE it... but it doesnt, it isnt the WORST FF game ive played, but its down there.... thats just my opinion tho =P
