This is extremely common in older houses. Nice floors with carpet over it. I like it. Remember to buff and recoat it every couple years

You are wrong about laying inexpensive garbage over such awesome looking hardwood. That floor is something you cannot mass produce unlike that crappy hardwood floor wannabe stuff that you are recommending.

personally i dont like it you should have just bought a new floor a laid overtop of it the color variation of the border to middle looks shitty

I tore up the rugs and the floors looked like your before shot. I have one "buckled" area that I don't know how to fix. Good job on your hardwood! |
