pilates don't make you bulky. toned means that you're muscular but it's very slimming and thin looking. the instructor is basically a good example of what you would get as long as you follow the routine.

The host (or the one in maroon) is probably a dancer or is probably trained in this already. Because she points her feet when she raises it and someone with no prior training whatsoever would not do that. I'm definitely going to try this work out out.... seems fun.
