One of the theories for why the world has gone through so many wars is that it is a human obsession for power & dominance and often through force; a bloodlust. So in a sense man does love war. & I learned this in my 20th century history class when we we studied why wars began and the theories behind the huge amount. It is not insane to think that people love war; many do. Not every leader but there have been plenty enough. Some people just want to watch the world burn, they are the insane ones.
