i was in the same boat as you but if you look at the violinist in the backround he is in sync and Karajan is just a crazy conductor doing his own thing i guess lol

Actually it isn't delayed... that's how karajan was conducting...

All of these Beethoven Symphony videos are incredible. If anyone has videos of Karajan conducting other composers like Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, etc., It would be well appreciated!

the timing for this peice is all fucking over the place, like the harmony. But he does it a good amount faster than usual, the first movement is over like 3 minutes earlier than when its usually performed |
