It's sad, yes...but once the spark is lit, no amount of formal education can extinguish it. School has its place, but matters of the heart and school may only have a narrow band of overlap. This scene is one of my all-time favorites!

I'm not sure they all got expelled...what was implied was the threat...at the end of the day the headmaster kissed all their parents asses...a quite discussion and one or two discreet donations would probably have been made...Charlie "newanda" Dalton while coming from a rich family was probably expelled by way of collateral damage...
