I already know what album it's from- I have ALL her albums. This song NEVER charted in the Billboard 100. I'm not sure about YOU CAN DANCE charting but if it did @ #33, it would have been the album- not SPOTLIGHT.

it was a demo for true blue but it was reliesed in You can dance the song peeked in the top 30 in early 1988 and it charted in japan as well it wasent a huge huge hit though

Unfortunately, this song did NOT chart at all. This song was supposed to be in the TRUE BLUE set but never made the cut.
