An early video of Aesop Rock performing "Abandon All Hope" from his first album, Music For Earthworms. This was done as a college project by a friend, and dates from around 1997. The plot seems to involve Aes rapping as a scarecrow while a farmer chases a small boy.

you most defiantly cannot compare eminem and Aesop Rock... its like cheese and chalk dudes... Aesop is cheese so creamy to the pallet... and eminem is chalk dry and powdery specifically made to be hard to swallow.. pure and simple...

Aesop is good but don't fuck with Eminem just because he's mainstream. He hes big talent and he made a lot of good music, just like Aesop too. Both of them are good artists and that's that.

maaaate! aint listened to a bit of aesop for time! this is wicked! as for eminem, i suppose he's got a bit of talent hidden away there, but nothing on the likes of braintax, skinnyman, lewis parker etc

Oh for sure, never said Eminem was completely whack, just his latest stuff I don't feel, at all. Yeah true, aswell I'm not saying a hate mainstream, Lupe Fiasco is a dope mainstreamer to name one. But just whatever tickles your fancy...

well, Eminem isn't completely wack, he is talented, but the Gangsta' rap just ain't my thing, I just think if you should rap about killing people and hate, you usually get caught up in that, but whatever, LOL, Underground is too smart and Abstract to rap about the size of rims on 4 wheel drive tires, and how jumpin' it be in da' club. That's all I'm saying.
