quietstorm, you are an idiot.
this is somthing we humans call "balance"
quietstorm0351 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Excuse me kind sir, but I have traveled to many lands near and far and have witnessed some of the most powerful magic that I thought humans could never conjure up. I have seen black magic, which if in the wrong hands, could revile the power of the gods. So do not tell me that this incredible and impossible feat is not magic. Because sir, the human or demon who performed this is of a powerful magic alignment.

It's not magic. Just physics.

It can balance like that because the other end of the fork and spoon put weight on the other side of where the toothpick touches the glass, keeping it's center of gravity right on the glass's edge.

you are all faggets
loudandproud87 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
good reason :)
but there is no riddle with the tooth pick...
because glass is a very good conductor of heat, it deprives the heat of the fire. so the fire turns off, because the wood is too clod to burn.
have you ever tried to stub out a cigarette on a tissue? put a coin behind and nothing will happen to the tissue (ok, it becomes grey because of the ashes), but there is no hole in it.
if anyone knows the name of this principle, please post it.
have a nice day
