19. The rise of fascism has links to corporate power. American corporations played a role in Nazi Germany and the holocaust, such as IBM's punchcard machines that tabulated the victims' data. Corporate allegiance to profit trumps their allegiance to nationalism.

That IBM apologist needs to be put up against a wall and shot. Hell, I would do the honors...and I would do it with a smile across my face.

We put a lot of work into those two discs. If you add it all up, with the add'l audio tracks, I think there's about 16 hours of material. I think you won't be disappointed. Thanks.

That IBM apologist made me sick. Even now they can't bring themselves to be honest and moral. machbar: There are some fascinating and admirable people in the film. I'm definitely buying the 2-disc DVD for all the extra interview material. :)

Then who pays the taxes?! The poor? Who pays for all the fucked up wars America decides to fight? Who pays for social security? Fuck the poor? How can you blame the left for this? A government can't dictate the laws of other countries (no matter how hard America believes it can) so can't stop people form getting fucked over in those countries, but it can protect its own citizens! Republicans govern for the rich, Liberals for the poor. Who do think there's more of?!

What is so ironic is that its the dems (liberlas) that so regulate corporations and penalize with taxes that hey are forced to go over seas to survive..thus lower wages and chep stuff for trade and foreighn governments could care less about safety and quality..the not in my back yard crowd are the cause of our own demise.....HELLO is there anyone out there left that can critically think anymore!!!!

That force for people's rights is in the people shown in the last 20 minutes of the film [22/23]. It's in people like Steve and Jane, fighting Fox [17/23]. It's in those brave young factory workers who slipped their pay stubs into the hands of Charles Kernaghan [5/23]. That force is people like you who understand that this film is a critique of an institution that has been made to evolve in ways that serve the interests of power and concentrated wealth, not the welfare of the general public.
