- Actually American ICBMs in 1961 were not so much acurate too.
- Soviet nukes since 1980's had good accuracy with CEP less than 500 meters to target, and it's without satellite navigation guidance.

Their arguments about "bad Soviet accuracy" are not accurate. Actually Tsar bombs was exploded for propaganda and political, not for military reasons.

The hole n the ozone layer is the result of chemical reactions rather than an actual physical event literally pushing a hole through it. Anyway the hole in the ozone is in the other hemisphere. But I don't like nuclear weapons I must say.

Nuclear weapons are not detonated at those altitudes, so nope, it alone did not create a hole in the ozone layer. |
