Contact me via the APCW "contact" page on our main site. We have to use that form now to cut down on spam. Thanks...

I think the selection of Catania was a good "business" decision for them... and I can't really find anything detrimental about him professionally. That said, the Kahnanwake will have to do far more to gain industry trust. And if they do, they will have to maintain that level of professionalism and integrity. We're onlu hoping that Catinia could be the first step in the right direction... but we'll see.

Stuff happening at Bodog since the "takeover" is unreal. There is no depth low enough for these people not to stoop. You have my email. Please contact me so I can forward this stuff.

Really informative show, J, BUT there is nothing...let me repeat NOTHING good about the Kahnawake. They are corrupt and Catania could not, by any stretch of the imagination, be considered "independent". This is just another ploy by the Mohawks to drag more people back into their fold under the concept that an "independent" lawyer (that should say it all) will somehow legitimize the corruption. I've been trying to send you an email but it keeps coming back.

OK, by "both" you mean organized crime and online gambling, right? Not the outrageous child porn accusations. I have never seen any evidence of any ties to that... EVER. And the 95% of people in this industry who are honest and respectable would never tolerate such a thing.
mgm62 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
By saying Industry, you are correct. By saying there are some ties and a few that are involved in both. I would put money on that being true. Especially in the Asian based ones.
APCWperspectives (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Thanks for the reply, but I feel it's you who should do more research. It is true that there are a small percentage of online casinos with organized crime ties. Just as any multi-billion dollar a year unregulated business. One more reason to regulate and not outlaw. Most online casinos, however, are legitimate professional operations. Why not check out the publicly traded companies on the LSE? Lastly, Bachus said this industry has ties to child porn. Blatant 100% lie and you know it.

you can google it and find plenty. Also, majorwager post articles all the time and have had several over the past year that told of mafia arrest that related to offshore operations. Please don't be naive. You seem like a smart guy. So read and research.

I beg you as a father and a man of integrity that --- if you actually have one ounce of true evidence --- give it to us. If you do have any evidence to this claim will take it and scream it from the highest hills... but I will not hold my breath.
mgmfish (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
On the fact that child pornographers are involved in offshore gambling....... There are as they are in all aspects of society. Just as the mafia has it's hands in the business of some offshore sites. Hopefully you are smart enough to realize this. But some people worry more about their own personal wants than caring about supporting less than ethical sites. Sites that are involved in much more than gambling.
