I'm not saying we should shame these people. We should teach them and motivate them. The people I am refering to are people who say: "I'm fat and I don't care" or "I'm fat and I'm proud of it."
The fact is, you shouldn't be proud of being unhealthy and yet some people are. This attitude is what we should not accept.

OBESITY IS A BY PRODUCT.
Obesity is a very very complex issue ,and anyone that says this is a simple quick problem to address ,is misleading you.I attended treatment for 2 years ,and I had to learn how to reconnect to by body.Eating until you are in severe pain is a symptom of an issue.
Thanks Paul

But the thing is: The more we accept obesity, the more obesity will increase.
I've observed that for some people, being overweight and showing it is a perverse action of pride, just as some people who are underweight are proud of that.
Perhaps we should not strive to be thin, but rather 'fit' and 'fit' for every person does not mean 100 pounds and no fat or muscle. It makes more sense in every way. We would all be so much healthier. |
