I have a question? Why did they get rid of the spinning globe? I thought it was awesome! I didn't like the old one with the text and said "exlusively on cable!"...I thought it was too long imho. The short one from this video is my fav version.

I wonder what was up with that yellow line during the satellite/radar maps..I remember that happening here in Edmonton then as well.

I'm not going to post these but at 5:00am, they aired the intro to Weekend EarthWatch from the previous hour and the winter Weekend EarthWatch LF. And at 5:10am they aired the new Morning Report LF but the music cut out 25 seconds in and the rest of the LF was silent. I guess there were some bugs they needed to work out with the new programming this particular spring during the first hour.

In the words of Krueger from Seinfeld "Pff, I don't care, Its not important... Lets Find you an Office!" Lol, getting off track there. I also wanted to say Scotts little wave there was hilarious.

That was weird, the first LF was the old BG but new music and then the one w/ the new background had the older music.

Yeah I was going through my tape and there were quite a few technical problems during the first hour of the new programming. But everything seemed to get straightened out by 6:00am.

That's totally what they need to do now... bring back the old music for some variety. Nothing wrong with the music now, but seeing as there's only ONE local forecast tune, it's boring. I take it the technical difficulties had something to do with changing the background and music, seeing as it was probably the first day of the spring programming. |
