I know this is Dougie's song and he does a good job with it. But I really love how Lisa Kelly of Celtic Woman sings this song. I am sure Dougie gets royalties from the sale of the Celtic Woman version. So I doubt he is upset or jealous.

I am here to tell you this song does provoke emotion in a man that is not Scottish by birth and never visted the same. Beauty is of course highly subjective but none the less this is very beautiful music to me.

Why waste your time and lower youself to his level? He is where he is in his perspective and you can't fault him for his lack of understanding of the beauty of Scotland. Many of us are lost in a small world and cannot see beyong the limited view of our own experience. It is fine he did not like Scotland but he reveals his own lack of appreciation of individual choice. One does not have to belittle something he does not like because it did not suite his taste. This what most fools don't get.

Honestly, you could insert the name of any other place into this song and it would be just as powerful and just as beautiful. Truly one of the best songs I've heard of late.

Its not full of miserable drunks its full of jolly drunks and to be honest we all know it rains in scotland so why when people cum up here they are surprised at the rain
