I was snowboarding February 2006, ran into a tree, had a traumatic brain injury, was in a coma for 2 months and went back to college 3 months after I got out of the hospital on May 6. Yeah, wow. This video was made by my dad, Dr. Veteto.

Dear Cody,I was very touched by your story and I am happy to see that you are smiling, appreciating healthy food :-) and that you are surrounded by so many loving, great people. You see! life is the present and we can never take it for granted and being gratefull is the best feeling. Family,Love, tenderness..is the best.I haven't had a family, my mother took her own life when I was 7, no father.I raised myself and cultivated that gratefullness, beauty, love.. since.May the Angels always be with U

Hi Cody, Great to hear your story. I am so glad you are doing so well. I am in nursing school and my teacher showed us this video because we were studying TBI's and everyone was crying by the time it was over. Take care and God bless you. You are an inspiration!

Cody, after seeing your video i can tell that there si so much we can do with love, perseverance and faith. My friend was in a coma of 2 weeks after a terrible accident and even it happened 3 months ago, he is still at the hospital with severe brain damage. Your video revive my hopes for him, since he acts like a child, when he is 26, and doctors can't say much. 2, 4, 6 months, maybe even years will take for his complete recovery. God bless you and keep getting better and stronger. Take care

Hey Cody, I am glad to see you have recovered as well as you have and in such a short period of time. I too sustained a TBI, but mine was in April back in '05. I'm fully functioning and I too was in a coma, although mine was only for a month. I just want to encourage you to keep on bettering your life with your second chance. I would also like to congratulate you for making your recovery. I know how hard it is. Good to know there's more of us out there.

You made a big dude cry. My roommate is in the process of recovering from DAI brain injury right now and the first part of this video is where he's at right now. Its good to see a full recovery.

Hey Cody, just wanted to say that you are a very lucky young man. I work with individuals with ABI (acquired brain injuries) in a residential center and wish everyone could be as lucky as you. Good job and good luck with everything!

This is a very touching story. You are an inspiration to us all Cody. I have a friend who has just awoke from a 3 month coma, I haven't seen him since he woke up, but your video has made me feel a lot better about it all. Hope you feel much better now Cody, all the best for the future.
