Great point. Even though Dr. Pausch put a brave face (for his children), one can notice that he was a human being, afraid of unknown, afraid for his left behind loved once. It is one of the most moving stories that I've ever seen. He made me want to make changes in my own life. He made me realize that life IS very short, and not to be wasted.

Somebody above alread mention these two books: The One Minute Manager, Kenneth Blanchard and Spencer Johnson, Berkeley Books, 1981, ISBN 0-425-09847-8 The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Stephen Covey, Simon & Schuster, 1989, ISBN 0-671-70863-5

I believe you are the one that misses the point. It is sad that you don't realize how ridiculous you sound. Blaming America for problems of entire world is just beyond common sense. Pulling out your leftist propaganda, and criticizing a honorable and brave person, who has already left this world, is just insulting. BTW, I would not be bragging about your lack of education; it is evident. Instead of getting emotional, use historical facts, logic and be proud of your country for a change.
