Well, when I posted what I did I neither saw the last episode nor the preview for next. I guess it's possible that they make something crazy up .. like the exact solar radiation given off during an eclipse, with the moon blotting out most of the sun and all, works as a catalyst for turning on and off powers. Or something odd like that.

I half-revoke my statement. =P He is emphatic mimicry. While not a complete "empath" he is able to absorb powers through empathy. By syncing with one's emotions he absorbs powers, .. though he does not detect or control them like a pure empath.

I like Jericho MUCH better than LOST. CBS just put the whole season online on youtube. just make sure you watch them in the right sequence. watch it, it's so addictive that JERICHO fans just created the world's first user-funded and produced TV spot to get the show back on (running on Universal HD)
