Great video. I'd be interested in seeing the software display of the fuel trim numbers when you turn your HHO generator on (without using the COSM to compensate the O2 sensors. I'm guessing we should be able to see the fuel trim change when the HHO generator is turned on.

Awesome video. I would have liked to see it with both banks reading correctly.

Hi dahduke. Nope, sadly that isn't possible right now. I'm able to improve my mileage and we are always researching different methods to get us there. The biggest challenge is that HHO cells have relatively fixed output, so they are most efficient at idle and lower RPM's, then effectiveness tends to drop off with higher and higher RPM's. They work great as mileage boosters but there are challenges to solve before we can run without gasoline. Some day!

great video , can you run your car strickly on hho without useing any gasoline at all ?

Hi ya Jeepman. Here's the address: o b d d i a g n o s t i c s . c o m You'll have to remove the space from between each character to use that address. The software down is free and you just pay for the interface. The price is about $87 (with shipping it's still under $100). You saw part of it in this video but it is pretty comprehensive. You can also check codes thrown AND you can clear your codes and turn off the Check Engine Light if it's lit up. I really like it. :)

Something else to think about as well is you don't have to excessively lean out. Leaning even a little can help gain you some mileage without causing undue driveability issues. Even so, I always recommend using a companion technology (water injection, hho gen) to get the most from it. Oh, bank 2 wasn't leaning as much because I was driving both banks but bank 2 had too heavy a diode on it, so wasn't getting quite the same amount of signal voltage from the COSM.

Also, I'm no stranger to adjusting mixture on aircraft, being a pilot myself. :)

Hi mielectric. That's why I always advise folks to use this with an alternative fuel replacement like an HHO gen or water injection. Getting lean is one part of it but obviously you want to do something to take up slack from the shortfall. Years ago Chrysler developed very lean-burn that required the customer to keep a water reservoir filled for water injection. Due to concerns customers would forget to keep it filled, they moved away from it but it worked very well. |
