I do like how he kinda screams "oh my god, what have I done?" I imagine in a situation like that most people would loose their minds completly.

sice i saw the movie first, i obviously liked it better. but seeing george hearn sing like that, i must admit he's quite a better sweeney than depp could ever be<3

Oooh, it was so sweet and sad, when Sweeney kissed Lucy.
This was much better than the Burton version, but that was also great in his own weird way.

i think i like the idea of tobias being older and mentally handicapped better. it suits the depressed and ill nature of london and its people in that period.

well tbh, Hearn was a broadway actor. He had to do his performance over and over again. It's very hard to really compare the two due to the completely different styles that the different directors have used.

I don't know who I like better, Johnny Depp was so good at acting and being creepy, but George Hearn has a stronger voice, and seems more human.
