o-m-g! OK, so that made me tear up big time! I have trouble believing in myself but that video gave me so much hope. I'm only 26 yrs old and have been known my whole life as skinny little teresa. after having 2 kids and doing nothing but staying at home my weight spiraled out of control. I was always usualy around 140 lbs and that was skinny for me because im 5'8. now im 180! so my goal is about 40 lbs. thanx for replying to my last comment its nice to know someone is there for support.

Wow! That's incredible! I have been doing Atkins for 2 weeks now, already lost at least half a stone! I cant believe how effective it is, and I also cant believe how it zaps away your appetite...
Any way well done to you, I am so impressed, your a real inspiration to all of us :D

Glad you liked it. I do agree about the face changes. It is remarkably how weight loss will demonstrate itself. One doesn't think about the head as being a big repository of fat, but my hat size dropped nearly an inch to say nothing of how much cheeks deflated. The years younger people say is legtimate at least I feel it.
Thanks for watching and commenting.

Congratulations, this is amazing! Isn't it just stunning how much the face changes??? Everyone talks about the body, but what about the FACE...? Because - isn't it the most beautiful thing in the world, this moment when one starts to actually recognize oneself again in the mirror...?
Thanks for sharing, man!

There is a maintenance phase of it that represents what your diet or way of eating should look like forever. It is much less restrictive and depends upon learning the lessons in the Ongoing Weight Loss and Pre-Maintenance phase on how well your body tolerates the increased carbs and food options.

I tried the Atkins Diet but when I came off I just packed on the pounds again. Was I supposed to be on it forever?

Yes, there are lots of us who lift weights on this diet. Some of the big names in weight lifting like Charles Poliquin advocate the low carb approach. |
