The Stop the Violence Movement was formed by rapper KRS-One. During a Boogie Down Productions and Public Enemy concert, a young fan was killed in a fight; galvanized into action, KRS-One founded the Stop the Violence Movement. Comprised of some of the biggest stars in contemporary East Coast hip-hop, the movement released a single ('Self Destruction') in 1989 with all proceeds going to the National Urban League.

Wayne was GARBAGE in 99-2000. That CA$H MONEY era was THE WORST! It ushered in the garbage that everybody complains about now! What planet were you living on?? 99 & 2000 had Jay, a brand new Eminem, OutKast, Lauryn Hill.. I can go on. Wayne just got good with "Go DJ" back in like 03-04. Everything before that by him is null and void.

I'm a 90's baby, but i'd much rather listen 2 rap like this than this whack rap 2day. It gives us young people the wrong impression of how we should live our lives, like killing and stealing, hoes this and bitches that. I jus wish young people 2day could listen 2 this and truly understand the message. WE NEED 2 STICK 2GETHER INSTEAD OF RUNNING AROUND IN THE STREETS KILLING EACHOTHER!!! WE'RE ALL WE GOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My point is that these rappers in this song are some of my favorites of all time. I'm not feeling these rappers of today and everybody has different opinions!
