If by "everyone" you mean nerds with lots of time on their hands, sure. Then again, look what I'm typing.
The PSP is jerky for SNES games, and Genesis games are pretty unplayable, even though NES games run really well on it. Not sure what you're smoking.
After playing both devices I'd say it was a toss-up for emu ability. I had high hopes for the Q, but both it and the PSP are pretty poor at emu it seems.
I expect the iPod Touch/iPhone to have great emus once the SDK comes out, but who knows.

lol beejor you're an idiot
bricking your psp is really hard to do, and everyone knows what it takes to do it
MY cousin has this player and the GBA and some snes are jerky as hell
PSP = Bigger screen, smooth emulation for all consoles
both are good, but psp is better, wish it supported more formats

Yeah, except...
Battery life: 6hrs vs 3-4hrs PSP slim
Processor: 600MHz vs 333MHz PSP slim
Emulator support: out-of-the box vs. risking a bricked PSP
Mass/weight: 50-60% of the PSP slim
Includes: 2GB SD card
Cost: $30 less than new PSP slim
The SmartQ is a much, much better portable emulation system overall, even thought it doesn't have N64 or PS1 support. |
