Pond was poignant lyrically, these guys were the epitome of drab 90's alternative shit. i'm looking it all up as we speak just for nostalgia's sake, and i remembered them from a show or two, and this song, and i remember i thought they were douche bags then, and i'm giving myself "props" now for realizing it then at such a wee age.

When I was 16 I played a Supernova show with Rusty headlining at the Polish hall in Oshawa.
They actually sounded good and I do like a few of their songs. Not bad song writers at all.

Aaaahh... yah, sure... junkie... whatever.
The guy had tremendous guts, and wrote poignant lyrics and melodies.
Then there's the 'band', dig that flutelike guitar-feedback solo at 2:00 mins... Just gorgeous.
The drumming and bass from Mitch and Jim were always right on the money-
A great band, and great songs.
Ken is a rugged soul- would love to hear whatever he's written since those days...

not sure if ken was a junkie...he sure sang like one tho. I know Rusty used to smoke pot on stage on a few occasions...no one knows what happened to ken since they broke up, like no contact whatsoever, he could be dead now for all we know...and not 'groovy dead' either! or he could be a junkie now...or both!
