Oh my God! That's a lot of money for a bolt-action rifle! :o I thought California laws were a little strict. But, you know what, the U.S. is not importing many Mausers any more. It could be because the supply is drying up, too. But, prices on the old rifles are going up everywhere. :( Happy shooting. You have a fine collection,it sounds like.

total ban. Noone can have a handgun. Rifles can be sold only to hunters and sport shooters. Beeing one of them is a much money and and a lot of time, and many administration. I'm a hunter, so at least I can buy rifles (only repeater, non semi-automatic). But for every permission for buying I must wait for more than 1 month. :( So "real" gun owners (not counting the illegal ones) are more or less rare in Hungary. :(
Ps: I also have got a Hungarian Mosin-Nagant...

I bought it for 200 € in Germany. Here, in Hungary it is often sold for 150.000 HUF (about 600 €), which is nonsence! But the weapon law of my country is a bullshit! Nearly

Oh I've heard they are very fine weapons. The Spanish have been known for making fine weapons for centuries. All I have are straight-bolt milsurp rifles. 3 Russian Mosins and a Yugo Mauser. How much did you pay for that Spanish rifle?

For the first time the straight bolt handle was a little bit strange, but I became accustomed to it. Moreover it is perfect. Very accurate, smooth bolt action, beautiful outlook. The components are really quality ones. Soft spanish steel is just a myth! I like it very much!

How you like the Spanish Mauser? |
