Aung San Suu Kyi is a heroine of mine. Thank you for helping to keep this EXTREMELY important matter at the forefront.

if you believe in the non violent approach then you wont hit children in anyway shape or form no matter how minor or extreme either.

There is a way, and it doesn't include every citizen in Burma. If only all of Burma's soldiers, or the majority of them, who are the ones oppressing their fellow citizens, would pick a day to simultaneously abdicate. If only people would stop taking orders. Shooting someone because someone told you to do it doesn't make that person less of a murderer.

The Gandhian approach is the best approach. But as John Kennedy said "Those who make a peaceful revolution impossible make a violent revolution inevitable. But the non-violent approach is the most effective way. If only there was a way to mobilize all people simultaneously so the military would be powerless to stop their sheer numbers. You cant kill all of your own people

However, I am not knocking the Gandhian approach. It is a perfect ideal.

I don't agree. The world's Martin Luther Kings would never succeed without the world's Malcolm Xs. In fact, Aung San Suu Kyi's lack of success in Burma may well be attributed to fact that there is no aggressive element there whose presence forces the government to negotiate in good faith the passive element of the NLD.

The world needs more people like Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. People like her, as well as, Nelson Mandela, Mahoundas Gandhi, Rev Martin Luther King, Mother Theresa and too far and few in between. Too often has society resorted to violence to overcome adversaries I hope that this changes as humanity evolves,
