Obviously you don't understand what "socialism" means, so let me enlighten you. Socialism would be taking money from other citizens and handing it out to those who have less money, in an effort to eliminate the gap between lower class and those considered "rich." Cutting the corrupt oil companies' profits and giving a cut of THAT to the Alaskans who were ripped off is not socialism.
