Jackson wrote a song when he was seventeen called 'these days' in which he sings a line 'don't remind me of my failures, I have not forgotten them'...such depth of maturity that many older men are incapable of. I always knew, even when I was a kid, that older people don't know any more about the important things of life than the young. I told my ten year younger brother once: 'don't look up to the older generation only because they are older' Respect has to be earned...it isn't a time thing.

I agree TCfan!! No one but JB can do it .He gives me chillllls! Hoping I get tickets for early Birthday?Christmas present as is going to be in Tulsa,Ok end of this month. Is about 1 1/2 hrs from me!!! As for Tom cruise, I did work for the movie "Rainman" that some was filmed here. I have pics of me with my arm around him!... And from some of the scenes from the movie. Also did work for the movie"Twister" with Helen Hunt

I love this song as well as his other ones..they have a delicate, tender, gentle and yet very wise message!!! Listening to Jackson Browne is a guarantee for having a very marvellous time- feeling romance in the heart
