I forgot to say they recorded our reading and played it along with the film to show us how music recording worked in the Disney studio.

these tortured-looking demon-like statues at the entrance are absolutely terrifying. :s

This piece is my favourite from the soundtrack. Such a wonderful degree of different emotions and atmospheres in it.
gagbonkers2 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Alan Menken wrote a wonderful score for this film.

I love how curios and innocent Belle looks. It's so awesome. She's snooping where she wouldn't and she just wants to know what it is. Human nature. This is the best of Disney for me, Beauty and the Beast as a whole.

This piece has lived in my dark heart since i was eight.

I like it. But. . .
It's not JUST the west wing. There's that second wolf chase in the Black Forest.
Beast: If you haven't run away, this wouldn't have happened!
Belle: If you haven't frightened me I wouldn't have run away!
Beast: Well YOU shouldn't have been in the West Wing!
Belle: Well YOU should learn to control your temper!

I love this soundtrack. Beauty & The beast has the best soundtrack of any disney movie.
I esp. love the part between 1:05-1:32
