I was sluicing the gravels 50 yards down from this spot and took all day to find less gold than this one nugget, found in 20 minutes! Twasn't that cold considering Scotland in December - a good 5 or 6 Celsius.

Have 5mm neoprene gloves on while in the water, bearable but quite chilly on the hands :-( Roll on the spring.
