THIS. It happened to me. I swear to god. I didn't say jack except that I didn't do it and then AFTER I was convicted I read in the police report that the JUDGE BUT NOT ME read, that the officer who arrested me wrote that I confessed! Cops lie! Don't say ANYTHING except "lawyer" if you get arrested.

He's right, you don't HAVE to talk to cops, but his story about the defense attorney convicted of assaulting another attorney isn't good as a "poster boy" story. I have better advice... don't grab other people around the neck, and the cops won't need to talk to you. The scare tactic of the federal lobster law is all good and fine, but isn't in the public interest to find murderers and child molesters... not if this guy is acting as a defense lawyer... but that is our system, love it or not.

an amazing man id like to hear more ive always wanted to study law im going thru some situations similiar to the ones talked about ive got alot of family in jail and prison and igot people looking at time...over b.s....
