for the most part, I am sorry to have snapped, i just get tired of hearing people say all American cars suck. WE just like to build cars that people can afford to buy.

it was just a reunion of the old gt40s and they didnt sell many because not many people could afford them

did you know that ford is closing down some of its plants as well. Ford keeps producing mustangs and NO one buys em. Cuase gas=expensive

i do agree with you, and the boss mustang is one of my fav cars. but... these cars were modified from the factory items. even the new mustangs didnt even install IRS because it would "cost too much!" and they handle crap! the Ford GT (with lotus engineered suspension)...standard is built to take to the likes of ferrari and lambo's, and thats exactly what it does. dont get me wrong, i work for ford and love american muscle cars, but they were built for american roads, long straight roads.

I have to correct you on somthing here. It is a common misconception that American Cars cannot handel. That all he do is shoot down a streight road as fast as we can. And this is incorrect. There is a little somthing known as the Trans Am racing series, it was open only to small block cars, and they raced on street style coarses. These cars could handel, Z28 Camaro, Boss 302 mustang, Challenger t/a, all where made to be able to "go around a corner".

Glad to see you can imitate the opinions of celebrities verbatim. Once again, the GT does NOT have any reliability issues; Clarkson used a bug in a Roush-installed alarm system (an aftermarket company) to trick his viewers into believing that the car had reliability issues. How very noble of him. Clarkson is a fair-weather fan. If anything goes wrong in his perfect little world he blames the Americans and Ford. Ford had nothing to do with the problems he experienced.
