Yea I feel ya I know how the industry work, dumb shit get the most exposure. Its sad the majority rules cuz you cant do anything about that. Maybe one day when the world is at its lowest point more positive music will overshadow this garbage.

a lot of black women like myself grow up uneducated about this particular subject. i've gotten perms all my life and just went natural last year. but i didnt come into myself as far as this particular subject is concerned until these past few years and i began to see how society(white) has played its part in everything we do. so to ur comment im sayin that a lot of these women probably dont even know y they probably been gettin perms all their lives and its been the norm which is kool i guess

It seems to me that people are getting away from the real point of this song, It has nothing to do with your hair, Its clearly about a man finding his soulmate which happens to be a sista. Get it together people and comment about this song. By the way this is a great song!!!!!

You can be critical of anyone as a black woman a get sick and tired of hearing how black women have fallen off. The statistics say something different. We have to learn to love and respect ourselves and have an appreciative inquiry dialouge. No ones lives will be transformed via words of hate. No one will be elevated with that. The stagnation war and destruction is the fruit and reward of the enemy for his seed of self hatred Bumani.

I say that every time you see a black woman in blonde hair and contacts she aint trying to be white she just may be a yoruba priestess of Oshun or a Dahomey Hatian Vodou priestess of Erzilie Freda which in my case is the very truth which is why people who know of me including those in the neosoul movement say I am Uniquely Soulful. Every one of the priestess mentioned earlier Mary, Tina, Beyonce ect are at the top of thier game. It is spiritual ashe not trying to be anything other than self.

Thank you. We are not our hair or any other obvious physical difference. That is the territory that has been used to confuse and divide us. I will never give victory to the enemy in that way. I know better.
