quick question but ...can you put an su-16c stock on a plr-16??
Liberty4Ever (August 27, 2008 at 6:37 pm)
I bought an SU-16C and I loved the folding capability. I also have a couple of Kel-Tec SUB-2000 folding carbines in 9mm and .40 S&W. I swapped the SU-16C stock for the E model stock. It has the PLR-16 pistol grip and accepts AR stocks. I like it better because it's much more solid and the pistol grip makes it easier to point, even if it doesn't fold anymore. I put the C stock on my new SU-22! The bi-pod forend is a clever idea but the barrel deflection DECREASES accuracy so I don't use it.

Yes, I have had my hands on a PF-9, I was NOT impressed. It is touted to be "smaller" than the P-11, however the frame is about the same/same, and the PF-9 is only SLIGHTLY more narrow than the P-11. Give me 12+1 of 9mm any day, I myself do not like the PF-9, but Im sure its a good firearm.
Good luck, Horah!

Hi, I was wandering if you were familiar with the Kel Tec pf-9 9mm. When I went to the sports shop they had one of these also. They said its made from the p-11 in 2006. It only holds 7 in the magazine because its single stacked. Its as long and high as the p-11 but is 3/4 of a inch thick instead of 1 inch and is 2 ounces lighter. I am going to buy one of these. Thanks!

I suggest you contact Kel-Tec or a gun smith, they only come in one flavor that I know of, stock.

Check the KelTec website, also google Kel-Tec for more information on one that is in development.

A very fine weapon! You need to put at least 100 rounds through it before it starts getting broke in. Recoil is more than a Sig .45, hand positioning and grip is crucial for accuracy, I hope to provide a video on that in the near future. For 12+1 rounds of 9mm, cant get much better for CCW. I work in corrections and carry mine all the time. Once broke in, weapon is reliable. KelTec is a good company to deal with, though mine has never been serviced.
