well there are lots of songs with similar chords, its not ripping off anyone necessarily, their are only so many combinations of chords that sound good you know?

The chords are the same (listen to the bass line). But it doesn't really make the song a copy of Wonderwall or Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Tons of songs are written on the same chords.

they ripped of wonderwall they admitted it, but you cant really hear it if you have untrained ears (dont know notes etc.) so its okay i guess, but if you listen to bouluvard of broken dreams now thats rip off of wonderwall

This is an amazing song. no doubt about it. It is very similar , musically, to both oasis wonderwall, and the beatles (dylanesqe) hide your love away... the lyric "whats a wonderwall anyway" was put in as a joke because they copied the chords. The video was apparently meant to relate to fran's childhood memories of walking to school.... and then i think they just got bored and decided to shove in the plane for a laugh....after a few beers or something...hahah *** dr zed
