Why must people turn everything into a competition?? I'm an Iggy fan and yes, I do think that his version is better but that doesn't mean I have to trash Siouxsie's version which was obviously done with love and respect for the original

Oh my god! Are you kidding me!? GIVE ME SOME IGGY POP RIGHT NOW!!! This is JUST, Awful! You have to have brass balls to make a cover even half as good as iggy pop's or be a complete idiot. Siouxsie and the Banshees I'm sure are the latter.

Your a little inaccurate Newwave1965. BEAN means woman "as Gaeilge" (in Irish), and the Irish for Banshee is Bean Sí. Bean Sí roughly translates into Béarla (Englsih) as Woman of the Fairy Mounds, or Woman of the Fairies

Even in the Harry Potter Movies they warn of the wails of a Banshee in one movie then in another one shows up a female fairy looking thing I am not sure which movies but there is alot more meaning to siouxsie and the Banshee's Than a Indian.

Ever wonder where Banshee came from? In irish legend a Banshee is a female spirt/fairy that wails to warn of a death. The word Banshee comes from the old irish words "ben" a women and "side" a fairy and means women of faires. The legend of the banshee has bee an Integral part of Irish folklore for hundreds of years.
